Renewable Distributed Generation (RDG), when connected to a Distribution Network (DN), suffers from power quality issues because of the distorted currents drawn loads network over generation active injection at Point Common Coupling (PCC). This research paper presents voltage rise regulation strategy PCC enhance and continuous operation RDG, such as Photovoltaic Arrays (PVAs) DN. If is not regulated, penetration levels renewable energy integration DN will be limited or may ultimately disconnected in case issue. The maintained both unity factor mode, depending on condition fluctuation occurrences PCC. investigation shows that variation consumer’s (reduction) causes an increase generated PVA, resulting grid current amplitude, reduction feeder impedance phase amplitude When system undergoing tends rises with loads. Its above acceptable range no-loads which are agreement, specified IEEE-1547 Southern Africa code prerequisite. Incremental Conduction Integral Regulator bases (IC + PI) employed access regulate PVA generation, while unwanted distortions attenuated using in-loop second order integral filtering circuit algorithm. Hence, mitigated through positive reactive Static Compensator (DSTATCOM), thereby regulating voltage. simulation study carried out MATLAB/Simulink environment for performance.
